Our Story
Miabelle ABA was founded by Justin and his wife, driven by their passion to serve children with behavioral needs and their families. Their journey began from personal experiences that highlighted the gaps in accessible and effective ABA services, especially for military families. Seeing the challenges faced by military spouses who manage their children’s special needs alone during deployments, they were inspired to create a practice that would offer understanding, flexibility, and high-quality care.
With Justin’s background as a veteran and his wife's expertise in behavioral analysis, they combined their strengths to form a clinic rooted in empathy, scientific approach, and community service. They named the clinic "Miabelle," blending "Mia" for "mine" and "Belle" for "beautiful," reflecting their commitment to treating each child as their own, nurturing their beautiful, unique potentials.

Our Path to Progress: Navigating Your ABA Journey
Navigating the process of starting ABA services can sometimes be overwhelming. To help clarify this journey, we've outlined a nine-step guide that takes you from your initial inquiry all the way to ongoing support. This clear, step-by-step approach ensures that you know exactly what to expect and how to proceed at every stage.
STEP 1
Initial Contact
Parents interested in our ABA services can reach out to us via phone, email, or through our website. We begin by listening to your needs and discussing how our services can support your family.
STEP 4
Prior Authorization
If required, we obtain prior authorization from your insurance to ensure that all services provided are covered under your plan.
STEP 7
Hiring and Assigning a Therapist
While awaiting insurance approval, we select and hire a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who is best suited to manage your child’s case. This ensures that we match the right therapist to your family’s needs.
STEP 2
Information Gathering and Insurance Verification
Upon your initial contact, we gather essential information about your child and verify your insurance coverage to ensure there are no delays in starting the therapy.
STEP 5
Scheduling an Assessment Once authorization is secured, we schedule a comprehensive assessment with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to evaluate your child’s specific needs.
STEP 8
Training and Initial Sessions
To guarantee high-quality care, either a BCBA or an experienced RBT trainer oversees the first few sessions. This hands-on training ensures that the assigned RBT understands the treatment plan and knows how to apply it effectively in your home environment.
STEP 3
Onboarding Packet
We send an onboarding packet that collects all necessary details about your child and provides you with important information about what to expect from our services. This packet helps us tailor our approach to meet your child’s unique needs.
STEP 6
Treatment Plan Development Following the assessment, our BCBA develops a personalized treatment plan. This plan outlines the recommended therapy strategies and goals tailored to your child's developmental needs. We then submit this plan to your insurance for approval.
STEP 9
Ongoing Support
and Adjustment Our commitment doesn’t end with the start of the sessions. We continuously monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to the treatment plan to ensure optimal outcomes. Our team remains available for any questions or additional support needed by the family.
